Project Description

"Resist the twisted truth no matter what the cost"

As part of the early visual concept development of a theater play, I joined forces with actors from veteran company Zereia. Through photography, "DYSTOPIA" explores how different colors alter the emotions we express.

In their story, virtual characters nicknamed bits break away from serial-made blue glowing costumes after a virus infects their system. As a consequence, each bit's true colors to surface, together with their unique personalities.

Visually, the world of the play borrows elements from major dystopian works, mainly Tron Legacy and Mad Max. Based on this, we played and experimented with electroluminiscent cable to bring color and light to the characters and props.
