DYSTOPIA

“Resist the twisted truth no matter what the cost”

As part of the early concept development of a theater play, I joined forces with actors from veteran company Zereia. Through photography, DYSTOPIA explores the connection of color and emotion.

In their story, virtual characters nicknamed bits break away from serial-made blue glowing costumes after a virus infects their system. Each bit’s true colors then surface, together with their unique personalities.

Visually, the play’s world borrows elements from major dystopian works like Tron Legacy or Mad Max, so we played with electroluminiscent cable to bring personality to the props and color to the characters.
